Huons implements compliance program to settle down compliance, ethics, and transparent management under its mission that we provide medical solutions for human life. The compliance program is a system that suggests specific guidelines for complying with laws related to fair trade, thus improves the law-compliance spirit of employees and managers, and prevents the risk of violating laws.
Pharmaceutical companies have a basic principle of management to develop safe and quality medical products with the spirit of life respect and to contribute to improving life quality for humans. I declare that unfair trade that threatens national health will never be allowed despite that we are facing increasingly competitive environment among firms in the industry
We must focus on continuous growth and improvement of Huons global health care group and fulfill the duties as an exemplary participant to a community at the same time. It is time to prevent unequal and unfair society that might unconsciously happen at any time and foster fair trade culture, fairness, and transparency.
The benefits earned from unfair trades may be helpful in a short term, but we should understand that it will erode our
growth in the long run. The authentic competitiveness of a firm must be proved only through severe market competitions.

In particular, the government is inhibiting unfair trade of pharmaceuticals with highly strengthened penalties. We have witnessed that firms caught due to its unfairness received massive condemnation from society. Violating acts related to the fair trade results not only in large amount of punitive fine and both civil and criminal responsibility but also the huge damage to a firm’s social reputation, thus negatively affecting visible and invisible assets of the firm. Therefore, all employees and managers must comply with fair trade compliance acts and ethics code. For those who violate the acts and codes, the firm will rigorously apply penalty rules and personal disadvantages. To facilitate compliance program to be implemented among employees and managers, I have set representative behavior standards.
